iTouch battery replacement

Hi - new to this forum.

I recently got a new battery for a iTouch and inadvertantly soldered it in backwards. I realized hat I had done, and flipped the flex over (correct orientation), but the thing no longer seems to work / power up. Still has proper voltage at the mother board.

Is there an on-board fuse or did I cook the logic board? If there are on board parts that can be replaced to fix (such as a fuse) does anyone have schematics / PCB overlays to point out what / where?

You may have damaged something on the logic board by reversing the battery. As far as I know, there are no fuses. Go to iFixit: The free repair manual and see if they have a schematic or step by step for the Touch.
