Keychain Problem

I'm trying to retrieve a password in Keychain. At keychain>password after selecting the appropriate item and selecting the show password box, I receive a message "Access Restricted" How do I resolve this problem?

Are you logged on to your machine as Administrator? The Keychain utility should respond to the "show password" by asking for your Administrator password.

If you're not logged on as Administrator the message you saw will appear.
