Hello, i have been using MacPro 1.1 for a while now and it used to run ethernet fine, up until now.

Ethernet 1 and 2 cannot connect to internet, it says it's not plugged in. But when i connect my macbook pro over crossover it shows some activity. It makes me wonder that it may not be a faulty hardware.
AirPort works fine though.
I already tried resetting PRAM, but it didnt help.

Any suggestions on what i should do?

I uploaded picture of Ethernet 1 having internet plugged in and Ethernet 2 having macbook pro on crossover.

Could be a faulty Ethernet cable, have you got another that you could try?

Try rebooting the modem/router, and if still problems delete all the account on the Mac Pro under Network and make sure location is set to Automatic when setting up new account.

Also if no joy, shut down the Mac Pro, unplug overnight to reset the SMC and try again.

Way... way too many specs to list.
Have you tried renaming the network preference file and rebooting?
