Hi all..

I just uploaded my website using Iweb, but there is a small problem..

I chose to upload it to my website root folder, wich for my provider is called "httpdocs", so I need to put my index.html in there. well Iweb does that, but it also make a new folder with the name of my website (www.RademakerFotografie.nl) so when I openup my website, youll see this is the adres bar: http://www.rademakerfotografie.nl/www.rademakerfotografie.nl/welkom.html

I already placed the content of the www.rademakerfotografie folder to the root, but when I upload new stuff with Iweb, it will recreate that folder and it wont work!

So how do I get Iweb to place all the files in the Httpdocs (root) folder??
I already have this set: Directory/Path: httpdocs/

Pls help!

Yeah, that's one of the problems with iWeb. It's really not a huge problem though. Rather than publishing directly to your website, publish to a folder. When you open that folder you will likely see an index.html file and a folder with your domain name on it. If you double click on the domain folder it should open up with all the assets that you expect in your root folder. Included in that folder is ANOTHER index.html page which is really the one you want as your site's index page.

Here's the work around: after publishing to a local folder, use an ftp client to upload the contents of the domain folder directly to your root folder where the site is supposed to reside. Once those files are uploaded, you should be able to go to the homepage of your site as you expect to see it.
