Receiving multiple emails

We have been receiving 3, sometimes 4, of the same email at a time. From multiple senders. Any ideas what causes this or how to end it? thanks

you mean junk mails？i think you can set the rules to prevent them

Is it SPAM? If not, then there is a possibility that you may have accidentally subscribed to a mailing list. Also, are you using any email client (such as the default Apple Mail application, Thunderbird etc.)?
