17" Intel-based iMac (early 2009)
My screen is black, yet the computer is running.
I am using an external (VGA) monitor to reset the SMC, reinstall OSX 10.5.2 (the software install and restore disc) (and get all the updates), reset the PRAM. I have deleted .plist file, but I have stopped short of going into the rm command as mentioned in the advanced Troubleshooting.
Does anything look wrong here???
