I have an iPhone 4 that I have had since September. I live in a bus, with no electricity, running water or Internet. I have my trusty iPhone. It has never been "synched" to anything. You cannot tell me that with all Apple's technology that I can't just delete stuff from my phone without "synching" to a computer????? Help.

What are you trying to delete? Some content can be removed and some of it has to be managed through iTunes.

Trying to remove 2 months worth of Jon Stewart episodes. Love 'em but they tale up lots of space. Don't know how to deal with all of my app icons either. Sorry, everything I own is an Apple product and I can't believe that this iPhone must be linked thru some other device!! That would be so lame

To remove applications, touch and hold an app icon. They'll start to jiggle and an X will appear in the corner for apps you can remove. As for the videos, swipe your finger to the right or left and a delete button will appear.
