Can I install and run software successfully?

I am a brand new Apple Mac user. I have a copy of Macromedia Studio 8 (from approx 2006) dual Win/Mac programme. My iMac is new and so will be running Snow Leopard and I want to check I can install Studio 8 and run it successfully without causing myself problems with the iMac. As a previous PC user I don't want to get the BSOD on the iMac.

Guidance will be gratefully received ;-)

I can't answer specifically but I would say it might run, but if it even does, it'll run pretty horribly since it's a Power PC version and all Macs are Intels now. Probably better just to get a new version or there are some great alternatives depending on what you're trying to use.
