Assuming you're using Speedtest.net: after you measure, click the share button and you will get options for ways to copy and share the results

CWA107, as the FiOS commercial making fun of Comcast goes.."You're WAY less than half-fast" with a ridiculous download speed and just decent upload..:)

The one thing I gotta say about my FiOS 75/75 is that its pretty much that or very close to it on both sides..

That commercial is just so disingenuous it's not even funny (almost as much as Comcast's "fastest in-home WiFi" nonsense commercials). The only time your upload speed means squat is if you're running some kind of a server.... and if you were running a server, you can bet that Verizon would sniff you and and send you a nasty letter. So, what's the point?

I know you know this already, but I just had to rant!

Truth be told, I would rather be back on FIOS.... unfortunately, they can't even come close to touching what I have with Comcast at the price I pay for it. I just tried to do this a few weeks back and they just couldn't touch it. They came up with some many silly, bogus reasons that I should switch, but nothing that was worth anything in reality.

Competition is great though. We have Comcast around here along with Charter and AT&T to compete with FIOS. The great thing about having that competition is that Verizon keeps offering faster connection speeds for the same price. They recently offered to boost my speeds and additionally gave me all movie channels for free for two years. All at the same price I was previously paying.

Meh... I guess if you've already sold your body to Google, you might as well sell your soul too :)

HA! :) Those jokers will likely never get anything done around here. They are pretty far behind schedule to be honest. It's been years in the making and still haven't heard much since they came to town knocking. I am very happy with Comcast and will likely just hang around with them. I really don't need anymore bandwidth, and hovering around 65 down these days makes me more than happy.

What was it before it got…"better & better"?:)

And was this a free upgrade...or something you're paying more for?

Up a little over 20 from my last post. This has all been free, my bill hasn’t changed for years.

LOL, you must be living right John! Wish I could say the same for my bill. Only recently, Verizon has responded to the competition from Comcast and Charter and given me a free upgrade. My FIOS charges started out years ago at around $40/mo for high speed internet and cable. Right now I'm paying $120/mo. Yeah, I have faster access and lots of premium channels to watch but at 3 times the cost. :p

Doesn't seem any faster than what I was accustomed to with Comcast, but I suppose the proof is in the pudding...
