Onyx Says My Disk Needs Repaired

21.5" iMac, 500GB HD, 8GB RAM, 32GB iPhone 4S Black, 32GB iPod Touch
I'm having no problems with my hard drive so I'm confused...

I'm having no problems with my hard drive so I'm confused...

It's possible to have corruption in the filesystem without actually encountering any immediately noticeable problems.

Yes. Onyx invokes OS X's own filesystem check. So, if it's reporting corruption, yes you should repair.
