Can't change keyboard language

Whenever I try to change the input source from the upper menu, nothing happens when I click the flag I need. I go to ''Show Input Source Name'', I unselect the British flag from that long list and keep just the one I need, but the British flag is still the one showing up. This has been happening for a few days. I just click on the flag I need and notthing happens :(
