Migrating iTune library

Having a hard time moving my iTune library from my old MacBookPro to my new iMac (IM keeping the former). Advice?

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
How are you moving it? Are you using the Migration Assistant application? Do both of the machines have a firewire port? If so, use the method described here.
