Hey, does anybody know if the early 2011 MBP with thunderbolt support dual monitors. I know you can setup one, but I would love to have 2. In a non-mirrored configuration. So, with the laptop closed I could have a dual monitor setup... Like my macpro. Even cooler would be when the laptop was open to have the dual screens plus my laptop screen. I 1) don't know if the new graphics cards cab handle it, 2) if thunderbolt would allow... I know it's powerful enough. If anybody knows please chime in. Thanks!

Sure it will - sort of. I'm running my 13" MBP with the wonderful 27" Cinema at full rez via thunderbolt, and an oldish 23" Sony at 1950x1200 from USB. Eventually, when thunderbolt hubs become available at a reasonable price, I'll step up the speed on the 2nd monitor. Until then, all 3 work just fine and nicely sleep and awake together when I close and open the laptop's lid.
