Hey guys.... I have a folder with a BUNCH of .jpgs in it that I moved over from a restored drive (time machine).. and for some reason.. anytime I try and move anything into it I have to enter my password and authentication..

anyone know why? I also can't change the name of the .jpgs and soething I find interesting is that when I drag one of the .jpgs to the desktop it keeps it in both places (the folder and the desktop)..

Once on the desktop though, it's still not letting me change the file name saying I don not have permission.. When I open the folder info it says I have read/write privileges..

any help would be great, thanks guys!

What are the permissions set to for "everyone"? Have you tried changing that to "read/write"?
