I downloaded Firefox 4 on my Mac and it seems to work okay for the most part. The annoying bit is everytime I open a new tab, it opens a blank page instead of my homepage. Annoying! I'm usually quite savvy on getting them working like I like, but I can't find the solutution for this. It could be a Mac thing, but it seems like the browser doesn't have an option

(and please, for the love of God, nobody suggest I go back to Safari)

Thanks Captain Obvious! I did that. I probably should have specified that I was looking to do this without downloading another plug-in since it seems to conflict with another plug-in I was using. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something else. No worries.

Yes, it's always important to detail what you've tried and why it didn't work. Failing that, it's REAL easy to assume you didn't do any advance legwork.

Like anything else, I suppose its easy to assume everyone else is in my head when listing out a request, but then again if you were in my head...you'd be as crazy as I am!

That's funny, the old version of Firefire has an option

The new one doesn't...unless you download the add-on. I was kinda hoping for a work-around that didn't involve downloading the add-on as it had a tendancy to be uncooperative with another add-on I'd downloaded. In the end, I ended up downloading it. Works great!

What I mostly do is = command key + left click on the homepage button next to your search (the house icon). It opens a new tab and it automatically opens your homepage. I hope that solves your 'problem'?
