Edit: I did a little hunting and it looks like standard speed on 2.0 is actually just 12Mbps... Am I reading this right?

discombobulated said:i read somewhere that usb2.0 is faster than firewire, but usb 2.0 doesn't transfer at a constant rate like firewire. Therefore firewire would probably be faster during a larger transfer. Correct me if i'm wrong.
