Hey everyone, my first post and my first time using boot camp to put windows xp on my 20" iMac. Everything went great partitioning windows, took about an hour with no problems.... Ive noticed I don't have any sound in Windows and I don't have any of my Mac functions working with it (eject key, volume key... etc) what part did I miss? I'm sure I missed something stupid that I can't find with Google. Thought I read somewhere that you have to put in my mac os install CD (snow leopard for me) and install drivers that way? Thanks

Yeppers, that's what you need to do, while you're booted up in Windows.

Probably read that in the BootCamp instruction manual available on the opening screen of BootCamp Assistant. Might be a good idea to print that out or maybe save a copy of it in your Documents folder for easy access.

Whenever I try to do that it comes up with a message that says "DVD or CD Sharing x64 requires that your computer is running Windows Vista 64-bit edition." Dont tell me that this version of windows xp wont work? I already bought Windows 7 to find out my computers too old to use it.

What version of Windows XP did you install? Did you by chance install the 64 bit version of XP? Because if you did, it's not supported - no drivers available from Apple.

Does your Windows 7 also have the 32 bit disc? Ultimate comes with both 32 and 64 versions.
