HELP :: MacBook Pro 13 And External Monitor Issue

Hi Team,

I am very new to mac. I am facing one strange issue with my Macbook Pro 13 (2011)

I am not able to see display on my external monitor while using my laptop on battery. As soon as i connect AC Adapter it starts working.

I am using DP Cable with Dell 2408WFP Monitor.

If i use Power adapter all the time then i am sure my battery gonna die soon. so how should i keep working with external monitor on battery.

Awaiting for some quick response.

That's normal. Please read your user manual. You can not operate an attached external display while your machine is on battery.
