Disc Burner

I'm running OS 9.1 on a G4.

I've tried downloading Disc Burner 1.0.1 three times (from Apple and from other sources) and it won't install. The first time I got an error message -36 and in later tries the system just crashes.

Any ideas why this won't load? (My CD-RW is an internal that came with the G4: the System Profiler says its a Sony CRX140E).

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Have you tried restarting with only apple extensions prior to your install?

I believe that the -36 error is an I/O error and is somtimes caused by an extension conflict or maybe a virus protection program.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, but I just went ahead and splurged for Toast Titanium 5.2.1 and it works great (so far, at least).
