Launch & Run Multiple Instances of Any Application in Mac OS X

What's really cool about this for me is I was able to open 2 instances of PowerPoint at once - something I would dearly love to be able to do on my Windows machine at work.

This may be old hat to folks here I don't know - but for me this is very useful.

I'm pretty sure I saw a thread someone started earlier this week asking how to do just this. You should share that link with them if you can find it. I'm too lazy to look for it at the moment.

I'll take a look. I tell you - I view this as really cool. Natively - you can't do this with PowerPoint. You can have multiple Excel instances or Word - but you can't get PowerPoint open side-by-side - which means you have to resort to some tricks for certain things. Being able to get two PowerPoint instances up and running is a big deal for me.

Hehe - I'll give it a shot - well, HP maybe - since that's what we use here these days. Actually I'm due for a new one any day now - just specced it out last week.

By the way - to get this to work for me - I had to go in and remove all the spaces from both the Microsoft Office folder name as well as Microsoft PowerPoint.app file name. Just as any FYI for anyone that wants to use this.
