Problem with installing Virtual Pc 7 For Mac

Hi, I have an iMac G5 with OS X v.10.5.8 and processor 2.1 GHz PowerPC G5 and when i'm trying to install Virtual PC i have an error msg that the it is not supported on this architecture. I also tried to install VM ware Fusion 3 and its still showing me the some msg. I need a Virtualization Software for mac to install Windows.

You can not install either one on a PPC machine. You need an Intel machine. And believe me, you don't even want to try emulation software to run Windows. It's unbelievably slow. It may be time to trade in the G5 for an Intel machine.

What version of VirtualPC are you trying to install? 6.1 and lower won't run on your G5. You're going to need the latest version, 7.0.3, which you can download here. VMWare Fusion and Parallel are for Intel Macs only, so they won't work on your G5.

However, as chscag stated, it's going to be a painfully slow experience.

thanks folks, I see what i can do to....:).... its time.. i think... to move on with a faster Mac :)....
