Connecting to hubbys pc (yuck) to my mac book pro

Hi guys

I was just wondering how i go about setting up our home network so that i can dump files onto my hubbys computer and visa versa.

Are there any tutorials for this?

Alternatives include buying a thumb drive you can just pass between you, or using a "cloud-based" common storage option like Dropbox, but the instructions above should be easy enough.
