Hi all.

I've a problem. I have a nice new Canon printer which has a automatic feeder on the top. My plan is to bulk scan all my old photos with it so I can view them on the ipad.

The problem is, when I use this feeder, it puts the picture within an A4 piece of white background. I've spoken to Canon support and apparently there's no way around it because I'm using the feeder.

So, does anyone know of any software that would 'identify' the picture part of the jpg and automatically crop away the white excess? It would also be helpful if it could straighten the pic first and also do this batch (or could I use this automator app?)

Thanks in advance!
