Sometimes when I go to sleep I like to listen to music, I turn down the brightness on the display so its completely black. Then, every few minutes the screen lights up again... I have no idea why this is happening, I'm not touching anything, no other programs are running, no vibrations. Any ideas?

You have to turn off "Automatically reduce brightness before display goes to sleep". Otherwise it "dims" it back up to one block"

Design flaw
