Hey,

I'm sure the solution to my problem is really simple, but I couldn't find a thread where someone would've mentioned of having a similar problem so I figured making a thread is justified.

On my Finder Sidebar there's an icon to play a song. The icon does not work and for some odd reason, it doesn't appear when I open sidebar preferences. I want to get rid of the icon, but I'm unable to trash it or move it. I can 'grab' it and move it around, but can't 'put' it anywhere.

The icon got on my sidebar when I accidentally dragged it there while copying files from an external hard-drive.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the icon are appreciated.

Try re-connecting the external. Then drag it off the sidebar.
