- Looking after father in laws Apple iMac 27" All-In-One Desktop PC 2.8Ghz
I am trying to solve a problem for my 85 year old father-in-law, a new mac user. He is trying to view the source code of web pages he has produced on his PC. He is trying to do everything on the mac now but has had problems with writing HTML and an FTP program.
The current problem is that there is absolutely NO menu bar in either Safari or Firefox. No File, Edit, View etc etc... I did read that the mac os looks after these things and not Safari, which doesn't help much being a PC user myself. It seems very odd that both browsers behave the same. Any clues anyone?
The machine spec: Jim’s iMac
OS X 10.6.4
2.8 GHz Intel core i5
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
