I have this case.

I own a MacBook Pro and I bought a time capsule a year ago.
All this time I was backing up my data using time machine.

Last week I bought a new MacBook Pro.
When I started the new MacBook I followed the procedure to migrate my data from the time capsule.
The restore process completed successfully and I have all my data in my new MacBook.
Now I use time machine to backup my new laptop in time-capsule.

However, when I enter time machine from the new MacBook, I can only see the backups taken from this machine.
I cannot see all the backups I have for the last year, unless I use my old MacBook to enter time machine !

Is there something I can do to be able to see all the previous backups using my new MacBook ?

Thanking you in advance.
