Watch for it to hit Alaska in maybe 2 days, then be held there for 1 day then to California.

Really wanted a VNC client for the ipad and a friend told me to try this. Works great. Logged into my iMac and was amazed seeing the whole desktop on the Ipad. Everything worked and was clickable. Haven't done that - I should check it out for controlling my HTPC.

If you don't mind paying, Screens is an awesome VNC client. Uses iPad native gestures to control everything.

My Ipad should here next Thursday if things go as planned. One week turn around. We shall see.

right. ordered mine on the 9th. It shipped yesterday. Apple maintained an estimated delivery date of the 1st June throughout the order. When it shipped this incresaed to the 2nd.

I found when ordering my MBP that it originated in Shanghai, and flew nonstop for 11 hours direct to Memphis.

Memphis is Fedex's main distribution hub. Once its there, its on regular flights to where ever FX serves, and thats just about any US address. By plane thats 3-4 hours at most since Memphis is in the middle of the country.

Since the planes are navigating the globe, despite the visual its actually shorter to go over top hence the higher latitude. Going lower would actually take longer.
