Hi everyone,
Having some problems with our network here and I think we've narrowed it down to being an issue with Finder and the OSX. We run two macs connected to a Lacie 5big and have not had issues for the past 9 months. Today when doing the standard copy of a small file all the files inside the destination directory disappeared. This was immediately reflected on the other mac as well.
However, going through the web based interface for the server or when logging on with a windows machine, the files are there. The problem is also spreading, and we cannot copy to the NAS without having the the files in the containing folder completely disappear. they also cannot be seen when going through the command line.
1 of our macs is a Mac Pro, the other is an Imac both running 10.5.8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
