I can't hear audio on my avi. movie files, (the weird part is I could hear audio on avi files before like a week ago for some reason..) I have some mp4 videos that I can hear audio on, so it seems to just be the avi files..I have mac ox 10.4.1 so the perian isn't compatible on that system..any ideas?

What application are you using to view these files?
I would suggest VLC if you aren't already using that.

I am using quicktime version 7.6.4.. I am not familiar with vlc what is that? and last week I deleted some 3ivx parts so I could eliminate the watermark off my videos..maybe that has something to do with losing the audio? still doesn't make sense..
