I tried downloading Sticky Windows but when it comes to activating it comes up with this message;

"You must enter your password so that Sticky Windows can be activated"

When I hit the 'authorize' button it just highlights the same message?

Plus I don't have a password anyway, where am I going wrong.

Thanks

Which version of OS X are you running? I'm not certain, but it appears "Sticky Windows" is for Tiger and Leopard only - unless the developer has updated it recently.

OS X 10.6 is "Snow Leopard." 10.4 is "Tiger" while 10.5 is "Leopard".

On their website, there is a notice stating that it does not work with Snow Leopard. As per their homepage:
Sticky Window does not work with SnowLeopard. Sticky Window relies on a hack (code injection) which is made significantly harder (really not viable) in SnowLeopard. We have investigated other solutions but with no success. And we love Sticky Windows as much as you do, we still hope to find a workaround.
For these reason Sticky Windows has been discontinued. (until we can make it work again)
