Starting my own Design Business Q

I am just starting out and want to know what the best program is to have for invoices, keeping organized for taxes, etc?? I know Quickbooks is for pc but is iwork good for me or what?? I have no clue and would be grateful for any start out help I can get!!! Thanks in advance!

Also, want is the best software for fonts on my iMac? I have always used extensis suitcase. . . would this be the best?
