Upgrading to USB 2.0 in an iMac 266

I am running an iMac 266 w/6GB HD, 512MB RAM. Can I upgrade the USB ports to USB 2.0? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's in the firmware on the motherboard so I don't think it's possible.

The iMac also lacks any expansion ports through which you could do this, so sorry: but no.
