Hello! I am trying to figure out how to clear everything out of my bluetooth section. I just bought a pair of bluetooth hearing aids that I tried to pair to my computer, but every time they pair, my mouse, Magic Mouse, doesn't really respond. So, I thought I deleted the Streamer (remote control for my aids), but it will suddenly pop up again in the bluetooth devices and asks for the passcode to pair up. I need to remove this device permanently from the computer and I need to reset my Streamer to get this to work properly. Any suggestions???

'Bluetooth Preferences' is an applet in System Preferences:

From there, you'll want to use the '-' button to remove any existing Bluetooth pairings:

I have done that and it randomly pops back in. Also, I have unchecked the discoverable button too?

Hmmm... not sure what to tell you then. Never had an item somehow automatically re-pair itself after being removed.

Make sure the item is not powered. Remove the batteries if possible.

Interesting cwa107.

My Bluetooth preferences always shows 'On' and 'Discoverable' as selected. What is the default?

The default is "off" and "discoverable" if you have no BT devices. That's on a MacBook or MBP. (saves battery) Probably doesn't make any difference having yours on harry, since you're on a Pro.
