iPad 2 external speaker buzz

External speakers buzz on my ipad 2 both at one location with speakers that work with my ipod, and elsewhere with another pair of speakers.

Hard to know what you mean by buzz. But try turning the volume down to 50% on the iPad and then use the volume control on the speakers.

Some experimentation from there and you can determine at what point it is pushing too strong a signal out.
