I'm running both w7 desktop and a MBP into the same monitor, often on at the same time. I can switch inputs on the monitor to change for one to the other and I can connect remotely to the W7 box from the MBP using microsoft remote desktop.

But I can't seem to go the other way. That is I want to connect to the MBP via remote desktop from the W7 box.

Any suggestions? I can't seen to find my answer searching the web just yet.

MBP is a 2011 15" and 10.6

Use RealVNC from the Win7 PC.

Be sure to enable it in the Sharing Preferences (remote management) on the Mac.
