I'm new to mac. I bought a macbook from a previous owner. I want to use the mac os x mail that is installed, but it is still set-up for the previous owner with their username, pass, etc. I do not have the password. How do I delete the old account so I can set-up my own?

Open up Mail - Preferences - Accounts tab
highlight the account - click the - button at the bottom
