Can anyone tell me how I might be able to load AppleWorks 6 onto my PowerBook G4 in 10.4 when I do not have Classic loaded? Must I install OS9, install AppleWorks and update to the AppleWorks that runs on X or is there another way to work around this?

There is an OS X installer for AW. However if you have AW 6.2.9 installed anywhere you just need to zip it to move it to another machine.

I don't seem to see the installer on the CD. I don't have AW installed on another machine. Any other suggestions?

Powerbooks don't come with appleworks for some reason.

Before you buy it for 80$ though, I'd see if you can get the student version of MS Office 2004 for 150$ instead.
