Can't sync Plantronics390 on MacOSX Bluetooth

I have had this earpierce for about a couple of months and the guy at walmart said it could sync with a built-in Bluetooth Mac OSX.

Here's how I do it:

Apple --> System Preferences --> Bluetooth --> +

And it will never find my mic, I repeatedly click the buttons, searched through the forums and googled this for about an hour with no luck.

Help?

Is it paired to another device already, like a phone?

Yes it is. Does that create a problem?

And is the phone near the desktop while you are trying to pair with the headset? If so, unpair the phone and see if you can get the desktop to sync with the headset..

That might well be theron Em. I have a mic that can pair with both a phone and something else but only if paired in a specific order. Check the documentation that came with it.

I unpaired it from my phone, turned the phone off and the mic, then turned the mic back on and it still could not sync.

I got this mic from a friend because he had bought some TurtleBeaches and he through away the papers for it.
