Please be patient this is my first apple. Machine was given to me over 6 months ago and worked fine. Turned on today and it booted but I forgot the login details. After numerous attempts I gave up and shutdown. I now have them but machine freezes, the apple screen comes up with progress indicator turning then after a minute or less freezes. Any idea would be greatly appreciated.
