hi

just taken on board a G3 500mhz iBook

i got it from ebay and it really is a killer deal
£205 plus postage - wow am i lucky

hardly a mark on it!

the guy did not know much about computers his auction just said
very good condition- so i bit the ebay pill took a chance and have come up trumps.

just had to share that with you guys in case you appreciate it
i am so pleased with this purchase

now to get on the net with it, after upgrading it seemlessly to OSX

sorry just had to tell you all - i'm comin in my pants.

On that note is there anyway to tell if you are buying a hot Mac as seen a few I am interested in but not 100% if it is hot or not.

Does macs not have serial numbers or the like that dodgy ones can be traced?

Tiger runs efficiently on a 500mhz G3? Perhaps I should look into one of those then, hehe.
