I accidentally removed the applications folder from the dock and can't get it back any suggestions? I can find it but can't move it back.

You've tried opening Finder, clicking on Application on the left sidebar and dragging it to the Dock?

Regards

Strange..that's how I got the Downloads icon back to the Dock when I'd removed it by mistake once..totally thought that would work with the Application or any other folder for that matter..

Regards

Where are you trying to drop it in the Dock? It has to be to the Right side of where the dotted Separator is by the Trash.

To add to what Raz0r has suggested i would grab them from finder but grab the Applications Folder from the Finder window . . . . You cant drag a alias to another alias position Applications from the sidebar to the dock . . . .and that is all they are, a alias. If at all and when you do drag something else off the dock, what ever it was just go into the Applications Folder and drag what ever App it was you sent off in a poof of smoke.
HTH

Cheers

EDIT : ^^^^ me doing the above way with any file using SL is it goes off in a puff of smoke . . . . Nothing drags to the dock from the sidebar . . . . . Puff, puff, puff and now i have to drag them back lol

I could use a couple more assistants.

Young and good looking would be nice.
