I am unable to open certain web pages with my new Mac book Pro using OS X. I have tried using Safari, Chrome and Firefox browsers. The web page is valid as I can still open it on my Windows based PC. Any suggestions welcomed?????

Go to System Preferences -> Network -> Ethernet/Airport etc.. -> Advanced -> DNS

See if the numbers are the same as the ones in Windows or your Router. You need two sets of them a Primary and a Secondary.

They are needed for you to use the internet.

Also, turn off your firewall and see if the problem persists.

Some banking sites are still written to use IE only. Contact your bank.

Post the URL of the banking site so we can test it to see if it's just your machine or global.

Won't load for me either using Safari. I also changed the User Agent in Safari to IE8 and IE7 and it likewise won't load.

I don't have time right now to boot into Win 7 or XP to try it from there, however, I suspect it's the site. I notice Harry stated that he can access it with FF 4.0, so who knows... :Smirk:

Seems to run just fine here in Opera 11.10, Firefox 4, Safari 5.0.5 and Chrome 11.0.696.50 beta.

Is this the only page that it happens with? Does it timeout or is the page just blank?

I am getting a time out today on that page. It went in the other day just fine.

Clicked on your URL from the other day and it went right in but the one you posted today does not.

https://www.moneycorp-gps.com/GPS-Client/GPSLogin2.aspx?ReturnUrl=/gps-client

I checked the URL you posted today on an Web page IP checker I use. Every location says it's down. It's checking from servers all over the world.

http://internetsupervision.com/scri...lan=en-US&checkurl=https://moneycorp-gps.com/

EDIT:
Ok found what is wrong. On TODAYS url you left off www. On the one you last posted that works here every time you are putting www and that one goes in every time. Check the URL you posted a few messages back.

Log in to the page or view the page? I can't try the login as I have no account with them but that page comes up here every time as long as www. is in the url.
