ITunes movie rentals

finally going on my first trip with my IPad 2 and I want to download some rentals off iTunes. My question is I would like to download on my Mac then transfer to my iPad. Is this possible? Things seem much faster downloading on my mac first.

I believe you can. I think it transfer via iTunes just like any other music purchase. I think you have 30 days from the download to watch it, but if you begin to watch the move, you have 24 hours to complete it or it is deleted.

Good to know. Sounds like with a 24 hr viewing window, I won't be renting from Apple anytime soon.
