Sure - competition between rivals is expected and normal. Even name-calling I think isn't out of the ordinary nowadays. But personal attacks in front of employees?

This is why I'm never giving those idiots another cent of my money...

I don't know if I would refer to somebody making as much money as him as an "idiot"... He obviously isn't stupid or he wouldn't be where he is.

Wow, what can you really say to that one? Taking competition to a whole new level, or should I say, down a level.

That is horrible, but that is microsoft for you, they see somebody gaining on them and they can't handle the pressure... Bill gates is probably doing the same thing but in the privacy of his own home...
They won't be getting any of my money any more either, and I was going to buy VPC well i guess I will live without those few windows only programs or download VPC off torent (although never used one before but seems to me microsoft doesn't deserve the money)

Thats not Microsoft, thats business in general, no company is going to just roll over and die because competition moves in. Ballmer is a bit nutty though.

Mr. Lee is in the drivers seat in that matter. He wrangled himself quite a nice contract, plus Google pays all his legal fees. Life is good ....

Well I don't know what business ethics you subscribe to - but IMHO this is not good old business as usual - typical competitive spirit - capitalism.

As I've said before - I've worked with these guys in the past and they are F%^&ing animals plain and simple - they have no moral ethics and will do WHAT EVER IT TAKES (illegal - ruthless - back stabbing) to stay dominate. The goal is do what it takes - don't get caught - repeat daily.

Of course with the crap they continue to churn out one could argue its the only way they will stay dominate ... so maybe that justifies such practices.
