I didnt want to use mobileMe and was googling around when i found byethost9.com. it let me get started with FTP and had my site up and running. was able to re route my domain name using

Dot TK - Renaming The Internet

my question is... is this safe? will I be able to have consistant website up and running using iWeb? so far it seems to work fine. just was curious since i'm not paying anything and it seems to work. too good to be true?

iWeb works perfectly fine for creating websites and uploading them via FTP to hosting spaces. MobileMe is handy, but not required at all.

I tried this myself, seems to work no problem, got a website up and running in no time and changed the web address to a .tk address and that works fine. The only thing I did notice is that on byethost9.com it does say something like "if no/ little traffic is going to the website it will be closed down"

Hope this helps

No problem at all, and thank you too, came in a little useful for testing websites as I'm a web designer ;)
