dvd plays only audio, no image ?

Have been testing my newly bought mbp 13 mid 2010, cd disk no problem. insert dvd movie,no image, only sound, what is the problem ?

Are you trying to play it through the regular DVD Player application or something different?

just regular DVD Player application, nothing fancy.
