FrostWire Not Working on 1.42 GHZ eMac

I am trying to open frostwire on my eMac 1.42 GHZ with 10.5.8. I updated java and set the new update as the file to be used first. but FrostWire keeps saying there is no compatible version of java running what can i do?

Don't use FrostWire. Since it's a peer to peer network similar to the now defunct Limewire, it's loaded with illegal downloads and sharing. Buy your music and movies from iTunes where you're assured of getting a legal copy with no problems.

But not everybody can afford that much music. And FrostWire is working fine on my MacBook Pro but not my eMac =[
