How can you tell what bootcamp it is ? Just found out it says version 2.0

So i download the version 3 but it doesn't seem to change. Am i doing something wrong ? i down load it in the download box. Is that it finished or do i have to do something else with the download ?
Thanks

What sort of Windows disc is it?

Full retail/OEM system builders/One bundled with a PC etc etc?

So will the disc even mount within OSX or does it just spit it out?

I'd have to agree. If the disk can't be read and assuming you can read/use other discs without issue then it's the disc.

Do you have access to another machine to test it in?

tryed to download the later version of bootcamp but it wont seem to let me goes in a silly sheet like format, so they said i need to put it on a disk and when windows starts to down load it will tell me to load the disk and it will update the bootcamp. But wont start to down load at all trys to but after a short few burts spits it out.

Bootcamp has nothing to do with it at this point. In fact what you're downloading is a Windows executable to be run from within Windows once installed.

Been told a pc world i need snow leopard for it to work, 10.6 ?

If it doesn't show up in Finder/Disk utility, it's something wrong with the disc, regardless of OS. (As long as other discs work, otherwise, it could be an issue with your optical drive.)

Agreed, if the Windows 7 DVD will not even mount in OSX, something is wrong with either the Optical drive or the Windows DVD. Bootcamp has nothing to do with OSX and the Mac reading a DVD.
