I have a somewhat strange problem with my new iPad2. Sound appears to work fine, except I get no clicking sound from keyboard entries or from games like Freecell and Sudoku.
Angry Birds and Youtube etc are fine.
I figure it has to be a setting of some kind, but I haven't been able to find it yet. :(
It's not like it is a real major thing, but I do miss the feedback from the clicks and other sounds.

Turn the slider switch back on.

Thanks,
I tried that several times and even switched in settings back and forth between mute and orientation lock. So far it hasn't had any effect, though the orientation lock works fine.

Have you looked in Settings>General>Sounds? There is an "on-off" selection for keyboard clicks.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I had looked at that before and made sure it was on, but this time I also looked at the ringers and alerts and decided to turn on the "Change with Buttons" switch. I went to Notes and started typing and still no sound, but when I use the rocker switch a window with ringer volume came up and I got sound. :D

Glad my "pointing" was worth something. :)
